Firefox clear cookies on exit
If you are exhausted of being followed around the Internet by your web browser, set it to delete your cookies and other browser data every time you close it.

Why does no one clear cookies at the end of their browsing session? Yes, there are those that you may wish to keep (logged-on websites, etc) but surely the others can go?

I must do a how-to on this one me thinks. Firefox is easy, Chrome, no so much but still doable via numerous loops:

If people don't want their contributions to "train" AI (of which you don't have a choice), then being banned from SO has zero impact the banned user, but to SO it creates negative PR. I don't blame the users for choosing to delete their stuff.
CC4.0 does not explicitly say that machines can learn, but rather people have the right to share. From a PR standpoint, it would have been very easy for SO to allow users to opt out, and the banning stance makes me look at them unfavorably as they don't care about their customers/contributors.
While I do respect and admire the user's stance, long term, this protest will go nowhere. AI is here to stay and will sniff out every open source contribution in existence and assimilate.

So, what date is this?
Let’s try writing the date in plain English, using words for the month - we can still use numerals for the day and year. That way, everyone will know exactly which date we mean.

Minuscule or Miniscule
The correct spelling of the word is Minuscule; MINU, not MINI. The root is French (née Latin).

Self-hosting a woff2 Google font
As part of my blog revamp, I changed from the tried-and-tested ‘font-stacking’ method to self-hosting the fonts. I explain how to get woff2 files from Google Fonts.

It reminds me of the old school routine...
How do I spell ____?
Look it up in the dictionary!
I have to be able to spell it to find it in the dictionary!!
Seeing a dictionary that includes common misspellings is pretty cool.
